ABOUT

The Village Hall is a community facility and a registered charity - it stages a number of events throughout the year and is run by a Management Committee which is elected at the Annual General Meeting.

The hall is available to hire for meetings, clubs, fitness groups, socials, weddings, birthdays, childrens' parties etc.

As the Village Hall has a "Performing Rights Society" licence, recorded and live music may be played. It is also covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Please note - the hall is not licenced to sell alcohol although users may bring their own alcohol for personal consumption. Unfortunately, we are unable to let it for use with animals because of the wooden floor (eg; puppy training classes) although we do welcome visitors with assistance and well behaved dogs.

TEAM

There are honorary President and Vice President positions but the management of the Hall and it's activities is led by the Committee which consists of;

Committee

It consists of Villagers elected at the AGM and representatives from Village Groups and organisations. Currently, the Parish and Methodist Churches and the Parish Council send representatives. New additions to the Committee would always be welcome.
